Job summary

Conduent is seeking an experienced Finance Manager to lead financial planning, reporting, and operational finance activities. You will oversee budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, bank reconciliations, and internal controls, guiding the Finance team in a dynamic environment.

The role partners with business leaders to deliver financial insights, drive improvements, and ensure compliance with policies and audit requirements, while fostering collaboration across departments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in finance, accounting, FP&A, financial operations, or related functions.
• Experience with budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and analysis.
• Experience managing bank reconciliations, transaction processing, or financial controls.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
• Experience working with financial systems, ERP platforms, or accounting software.

Responsibilities

• Lead budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and variance analysis.
• Partner with business leaders to provide financial insights and recommendations.
• Oversee bank account, credit card, merchant processor, and general ledger reconciliations.
• Investigate and resolve transaction discrepancies, reconciling items, and financial exceptions.
• Manage chargebacks, customer refunds, non-sufficient funds (NSF) items, and related financial activities.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, accounting standards, internal controls, and audit requirements.
• Support month-end and year-end close activities in partnership with Accounting.
• Develop and improve financial processes, reporting, and operational controls.
• Lead, coach, and develop finance team members while driving accountability and performance.
