Job summary

Aramark is seeking an Operations Finance Manager in Fremont, CA to lead forecasting, budgeting, reporting, payroll, AP/AR, inventory controls and internal controls. This full-time, onsite role requires a strong operational finance background and leadership capabilities.

The ideal candidate will excel in Excel, drive process improvements, and partner with regional finance leadership on compliance and operational reviews. Remote work is not available.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance (or equivalent).
• 5+ years in finance, accounting and supervising teams.
• Experience as Controller/Finance Manager or similar preferred.
• Strong AP/AR, payroll, inventory and credit control experience.
• Knowledge of accounting standards, practices and controls.
• Strong analytical, reporting and financial modeling skills.
• Proficiency with Excel; Oracle or similar systems preferred.
• Demonstrated leadership, communication and prioritization abilities.
• Customer service focus and collaboration with operations.
• Track record of process improvement and automation.
• Self-motivated with ability to work independently and grow.

Responsibilities

• Plan, direct, and organize accurate reporting, forecasting, budgets and variance analysis.
• Oversee AP/AR, payroll, inventory, billing and collections.
• Manage month-end close with internal controls and SOX compliance where applicable.
• Supervise staff; hire, train, mentor and evaluate performance.
• Maintain strong internal/external customer service, billing accuracy and collections.
• Collaborate with District Managers and leadership on financial reviews and initiatives.
• Standardize and improve financial processes for efficiency and cost savings.
• Maintain financial controls and assist audits as needed.
• Prepare and present financial information for leadership meetings.
• Assist with payroll processing, workers' comp, and related compliance.
• Proactively resolve issues and escalate to leadership when needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
