Job summary

Aramark seeks an Operations Finance Manager in Glendale Heights, IL to lead forecasting, budgeting, reporting, payroll, and inventory controls, ensuring accuracy and strong internal controls.

This role supervises finance and office staff, partners with regional finance, and supports operational leadership on compliance and financial reviews in a fast-paced setting.

The position is full-time and on-site Monday–Friday with competitive compensation and benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance.
• Minimum of 5 years in finance, accounting, and supervising teams.
• Controller/Finance Manager or equivalent operational finance experience preferred.
• Strong experience across AP, AR, payroll, and inventory controls.
• Solid knowledge of accounting standards and internal controls.
• Analytical, reporting, and financial modeling skills.
• Advanced Excel; Oracle or other financial systems experience.
• Proven leadership, communication, and multitasking abilities.
• Customer service focus and partnerships with operations teams.
• Track record of process improvement and cost efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Plan, direct, and organize accurate and timely reporting and forecasting of financial information, including statements, forecasts, budgets, and variance analysis.
• Lead and oversee all financial activities for the location: accounts payable, accounts receivable, credit & collections, payroll, inventory, and expenses.
• Manage month-end close with SOX compliance where applicable.
• Supervise and develop finance staff via hiring, training, mentoring, and performance management.
• Maintain strong internal controls and provide outstanding service to internal and external customers.
• Collaborate with District Managers and operational leaders on financial reviews and initiatives.
• Evaluate, standardize, and improve financial processes to drive efficiency and cost savings.
• Prepare and present financial information for leadership meetings and key decisions.
• Assist with payroll processing and related compliance paperwork.
• Proactively resolve financial issues and escalate as needed.
