Southern Plains Behavioral Health Services is seeking a Business Manager to oversee financial and business operations, including accounting, payroll, budgeting, billing, grants, contracts, purchasing, and office management. You will collaborate with the Executive Director to maintain financial stability and drive sustainability across SPBHS's offices.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree and at least five years in finance or business management, with experience in QuickBooks and grants

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Five (5) years of proven business or financial management experience preferred.
• Experience with QuickBooks, payroll processing, budgeting, and financial reporting strongly preferred.

Responsabilités

• Oversee all financial activities of the agency in coordination with the Executive Director.
• Maintain accurate financial records, reconcile bank statements, and monitor accounts payable and receivable.
• Prepare monthly financial statements, annual budgets, financial reports, audit materials, and required cost reports.
• Process biweekly payroll and ensure employees are paid accurately and on time.
• Pay vendor accounts and agency bills in a timely manner.
• Monitor agency income and expenses, manage expenditures, and identify opportunities to improve financial performance and profitability.
• Assist with financial planning, purchasing, and budgeting.
• Oversee Medicaid, insurance, contract, and other third‑party billing processes.
• Manage and track state funding and grants, including budgets, expenditures, deadlines, and required reports.
• Ensure grant and contract funds are properly managed and spent according to funding requirements.
• Read, understand, and ensure compliance with all contracts obtained by SPBHS.
• Maintain knowledge of applicable federal and state regulations, funding requirements, and agency policies.
• Supervise administrative support staff and billing staff, providing direction, guidance, and oversight.
• Administer payroll records, employee compensation, benefits, and performance management systems.
• Assist employees with questions regarding payroll, benefits, and work‑related concerns.
• Work with the Executive Director on staffing needs, employee concerns, and personnel matters.
