Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, business, finance or related field and four (4) years of experience managing budgets and fiscal affairs for a university or non-profit.
• Advanced knowledge of accounting procedures, fund accounting, internal controls, and HR, budget preparation and budget administration.
• Experience with PeopleSoft and financial reporting for university units.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and coordinate hiring processes for staff and faculty.
• Assist departments with grant and contract administration, including pre/post-award activities.
• Administer the scholarship program and coordinate distributions and reports.
• Prepare special financial reports for accreditation, leadership, and university administrators.
• Oversee operating policies, internal controls, and office management within the unit.
• Reconcile monthly statements, monitor expenditures and transfers, and supervise staff.
