Job summary

Qualifications

• AA Degree in accounting or business administration or equivalent.
• Knowledge of governmental bookkeeping/accounting theories and principles.
• Knowledge of D365 financial system and iSolved timecard.
• HIPAA regulations and policies and ability to ensure compliance.
• Ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders both inside and outside Yakama Nation.
• Ability to lead change and manage budgets and payroll.

Responsibilities

• Manage budgets, financial transactions, and reporting for the Tiinawit Program.
• Ensure payments and adjustments are posted in D365 to vendors and employees in a timely manner.
• Prepare, process, and maintain contracts, grants, PRA hiring packets and related paperwork.
• Supervise staff and provide HR administration support to program team.
• Assist program managers with data gathering and reporting requirements.
• Represent the program at meetings and duties as assigned.
