FHLB Des Moines is seeking an intern to support the Member Financial Operations (MFO) division. The role involves daily transaction support, data analysis for efficiencies, and assisting with regulated procedures to benefit the Bank and its members.

Responsibilities include collaborating with MFO teams, responding to member inquiries, monitoring risk issues, and aiding audits. Proactive contributors with attention to detail will thrive in this fast-paced environment.

Formación

• Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in business, accounting, or finance.
• Proficient with Word and Excel; SQL a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsabilidades

• Collaborate with the Member and Financial Operations (MFO) teams to support daily operations, quality control initiatives and various projects.
• Respond to member correspondence requests for information.
• Monitor, identify, and report on emerging issues related to members and other business partners to ensure Anti-Money laundering, OFAC, fraud or other risk issues are escalated and addressed on a timely basis.
• Assist with pulling data for Internal and External Audit requests.
• Contribute to projects and the development of solutions to improve effectiveness of processes, reduce risk and promote efficiencies.
• Other duties as assigned.
