Job summary

FHLB Des Moines is seeking a security-focused professional to help maintain and strengthen our information security posture. You will review vendor contracts, assess risks, and respond to security events while supporting identity and access management across enterprise systems.

As part of a collaborative team, you will perform access provisioning, maintain internal controls, and assist with security projects.

• Review and analyze contracts with third-party vendors to ensure that security requirements are met.
• Conduct risk assessments of vendor systems and processes to identify potential security threats and vulnerabilities.
• Respond to operational security events.
• Assist with Vulnerability Management.
• Perform departmental internal controls.
• Provision, modify, and revoke access to systems, applications, and data in alignment with organizational policies and regulatory requirements.
• Conduct periodic access recertifications and other activities to validate compliance with internal controls.
• Provide support with security projects, vendor management, identity, and access management, monitoring of system changes and assist in security program management.

Accountabilities

Compensation Range

Hourly: $22.00 - $22.00 This compensation range represents the Bank’s good faith and reasonable estimate of possible compensation at the time of hire. Offer to be determined by selected applicant’s education, experience, knowledge, skills & abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.
