Job summary

Elevate Semiconductor seeks an experienced Director of Finance & Operations to drive FP&A, forecasting, and site-level operations for the San Diego unit. This hands-on leadership role partners with business-unit leaders and Corporate Finance to align financial performance with strategic objectives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in finance, accounting, business administration, or a related field.
• 10+ years of progressive experience in finance, accounting, FP&A, or business operations.
• Demonstrated leadership experience, including direct management and development of a team.
• Strong background in FP&A, budgeting, forecasting, and business performance management.
• Experience partnering with senior leadership and cross-functional teams to support financial and operational decisions.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial information and communicate recommendations effectively.
• Experience managing competing priorities in a dynamic business environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead quarterly and annual financial forecasting, budgeting, and S&OP processes for the business unit.
• Develop and analyze forecasts for revenue, operating expenses, cash flow, and supply chain activities.
• Partner with business unit leaders to monitor revenue performance, manage costs, and optimize resource allocation.
• Identify financial and operational risks, opportunities, and performance trends, providing actionable recommendations to leadership.
• Prepare financial reports, forecasts, and business performance analyses for executive and corporate leadership.
• Support financial controls, accounting policies, audit requirements, and compliance with corporate standards.
• Partner with Corporate Accounting to ensure accurate, consistent, and timely financial reporting.
• Identify opportunities to automate financial processes and improve reporting efficiency through systems and analytics tools.
• Maintain data integrity and consistency across financial reporting platforms.
• Serve as the financial and operational leader for the San Diego site, representing the business unit in corporate reviews and cross-functional initiatives.
• Provide operational oversight and support day-to-day site activities in partnership with functional leaders.
• Collaborate with Supply Chain, Manufacturing, HR, and Accounting to align operational priorities with financial objectives.
• Identify site-level risks, operational challenges, and opportunities for improvement.
• Lead and develop team members while fostering accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
• Support strategic business initiatives, including growth investments, new business opportunities, and cost optimization.
• Develop financial models and business cases to evaluate investments, operational changes, and strategic decisions.
• Analyze business performance and provide recommendations to improve profitability, efficiency, and long-term growth.
• Partner with executive leadership to evaluate financial and operational tradeoffs and support business unit objectives.
