Job summary

Realty Income Corporation in San Diego (Del Mar Heights) seeks a Manager, Finance Operations Automation to own and advance the customer payment experience and cash application automation within the Invoice-to-Cash value stream.

You will lead end-to-end strategy across portals, ACH and wire, govern banking instruction, dunning, remittance ingestion, matching logic, and posting strategies, while partnering with Finance, IT, and Data teams.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience leading projects or programs within Finance Operations, Accounting, cash application, accounts receivable, payments, or related domain.
• Experience leading automation, system implementation, finance transformation, or process redesign initiatives from requirements through deployment and stabilization.
• Experience designing or improving rule-based workflows, advanced matching solutions, AI-enabled processes, or exception-management frameworks.
• Strong analytical skills with SQL/Python/Power BI or comparable data and reporting tools.
• Understanding of financial controls, audit requirements, data governance, and risks in payment/posting workflows.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end customer payment strategy across portal, ACH, and wire channels.
• Govern banking instruction processes: onboarding, validation, change management, controls, and auditability.
• Oversee statements, portal payments, dunning, and alignment between communications and cash posting.
• Lead design, implementation, and improvement of cash application automation, including remittance ingestion and matching logic.
• Define scalable frameworks connecting payments, remittance data, customer accounts, and open receivables.
• Partner with Finance, Accounting, Technology, and Data to balance automation efficiency and controls.
