Qualifications

• Proven accounting and bookkeeping experience with GAAP.
• CPA credential and bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field.
• Experience with general ledger and month-/year-end close.
• Proficiency with accounting software systems and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accounts payable and receivable, payroll, and daily financial entries.
• Prepare and develop financial reports using the ERP system for management decisions.
• Maintain clear records of accounting transactions.
• Prepare sales tax reports.
• Review inventory counts and stale inventory.
• Assist the COO with logistics planning and forecasting.
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal reporting requirements.
• Assist with budget preparation and financial planning.
• Monitor variances from the projected budget.
• Handle confidential information with integrity.
• Provide supporting documentation for annual tax returns and audits.
