The Association of Former Students is seeking an Accounting Associate to join a dedicated team responsible for accurate financial stewardship and transactional processing in support of Aggie Network initiatives. Qualifications

• One to two years of accounting experience in accounting associate, accounting clerk, bookkeeper, accounting generalist, or similar role.
• Experience processing financial transactions and maintaining accounting records.
• Experience with spreadsheets, accounting systems, or financial software.

Responsibilities

• Process and support accounting transactions and financial activities with accuracy and attention to detail.
• Support accounts payable, cash management, revenue processing, and accounting operations.
• Maintain accounting records and documentation in accordance with policies and procedures.
• Monitor workflows, queues, and communication channels for timely processing and resolutions.
• Perform accounting duties in compliance with internal controls and procedures.
• Support accounting technology initiatives, automation, and process improvements.
• Identify discrepancies and assist in resolving issues.
• Collaborate with teammates to ensure continuity and accuracy of processes.
• Participate in organizational activities and support Association-wide initiatives.
