Job summary

The University of Vermont Foundation & Alumni Association is seeking a highly detail-oriented Staff Accountant to support vendor disbursements, expenses, cash receipts, and bank deposit strategies in support of the Foundation's business goals. The role also focuses on payroll processing and maintaining employee records in the HCM system, with strong MS Excel proficiency.

Qualifications

• The candidate must have a bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
• Experience with bookkeeping, cash receipts, travel and entertainment card management and payroll/benefits is preferred.

Responsibilities

• 35% Travel & entertainment administration and reporting.
• 20% Cash receipts and daily transaction processing.
• 20% Payroll and benefit administration.
• 15% Accounts payable and expense reporting.
• 10% Special projects and other work as assigned.
