Job summary

Bridge Alternatives is seeking an Associate for its ManCo finance and operations team. You will record activity, reconcile accounts, and assist with monthly closes across multiple engagements for alternative asset managers.

This role emphasizes accuracy, collaboration, and professional growth in a fast-paced environment. The position requires 1–2 years in accounting, a bachelor’s in accounting or finance, and strong Excel/Cloud GL skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
• Exposure to a full monthly close cycle.
• Familiarity with alternative asset structures (management companies, funds) is helpful.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong accounting, problem solving, and analytical skills.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel and cloud general ledger experience; QuickBooks Online preferred.

Responsibilities

• Record and code day-to-day management company activity in the client's accounting system.
• Prepare monthly bank, corporate card, and bill pay reconciliations, and research items that do not clear.
• Review spend transactions for the required coding fields and receipt compliance, and compile exceptions for the engagement lead.
• Prepare monthly close workpapers and draft financial statements for review.
• Maintain the intercompany schedule by entity and fees earned vs fees received.
• Support payroll processing and assist with vendor onboarding and Form 1099 preparation.
• Participate in client calls and manage follow-up items across multiple engagements.
