A founder-led business group is seeking a Finance & Operations Associate to join the team in Houston, TX. This hands-on role combines bookkeeping, financial analysis, and operational execution while working directly with the Founder on the company’s financial and operational foundations.

Responsibilities include maintaining accurate records, managing budgeting and reporting, and supporting administration across multiple entities.

Qualifications

• Degree in accounting, finance or related discipline.
• Strong accounting fundamentals; practical bookkeeping knowledge.
• Internships or 1–3 years experience preferred; exceptional applicants without full-time experience considered.

Responsibilities

• Maintain bookkeeping and records across entities.
• Reconcile bank accounts; manage accounts payable/receivable.
• Prepare cash-flow forecasts, budgets and weekly dashboards.
• Support monthly reporting and year-end prep with external accountants.
• Track intercompany transactions and maintain separation of finances.
• Organize vendor and adviser interactions and corporate records.
• Develop processes for expenses, approvals, recordkeeping and reporting.
• Research business opportunities and prepare concise briefings.
