Job summary

Mainstay is hiring an Accounting Operations Associate to support the various operational aspects of our finance and accounting team as we scale. You’ll oversee AP, AR, spend management systems, daily treasury functions, support close, and ensure GL data integrity.

You will own the full AP/AR cycle, monitor cash positions, process payments, and maintain system integrations, while aiding month-end close and reporting.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of accounting experience with hands-on AP/AR.
• Exposure to treasury or cash management tasks.
• Experience administering financial systems (ERP, AP/AR, banking portals).
• Strong Excel skills and ability to work across multiple financial systems.
• Detail-oriented with deadline-driven controls and processes.
• Accounting/Finance degree preferred but not mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Own AP/AR cycles and manage vendor/customer inquiries.
• Monitor treasury functions and cash positions; process transfers.
• Manage accounting systems and integrations; maintain data integrity.
• Support month-end close and reconciliations; prepare schedules.
• Assist in financial reporting, budgeting, and variance analysis.
