Job summary

Farther is seeking an Accounting Associate to join our Finance team. You will manage accounts payable in Ramp, process vendor invoices and employee reimbursements, and support the month-end close with accuracy and efficiency.

You will improve processes, maintain audit-ready records, and provide insightful financial analytics for stakeholders while helping scale our growing fintech wealth platform. This role offers a hands-on opportunity to influence cost controls and vendor relationships in a

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
• 4+ years of progressive experience in payables management and month-end close.
• Advanced Excel skills.
• Experience with Ramp or similar AP/expense management platforms preferred.
• Strong analytical and stakeholder management abilities.

Responsibilities

• Manage the procure-to-pay process in Ramp, including new purchase requests, documenting vendor agreements, and scheduling agreement renewal notifications
• Support employee reimbursement programs and expense management
• Develop and maintain payroll analytics and reporting for key stakeholders
• Assist in monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes
• Prepare bank, credit card, and account reconciliations
• Maintain organized records of financial documents and provide audit support
