Job summary

The University of Arizona invites applications for a Finance & Operations Professional I at the Tucson Campus. This full-time role supports day-to-day transactions in Concur, performs data analysis, and helps ensure financial compliance while delivering responsive service to faculty, staff, and students.

The position requires a bachelor’s degree or equivalent and at least one year of related experience; 2+ years in financial transactions is preferred and compensation reflects university pay

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent required.
• One year of relevant work experience required.
• Two or more years' experience in financial transactions and operations preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supports daily operations of 3 units, initiating and reconciling transactions in Concur and managing vouchers and purchase orders.
• Collaborates with faculty, staff and students to ensure fiscal and operational compliance with university policies.
• Processes utilities, gas/fuel programs and other services; documents financial and operational procedures.
• Acts as a resource in accounting procedures, including internal audit, general accounting, joint ventures accounting and taxation.
• Inventory custodian, staff provisioning, foundation transfers and other duties as assigned.
