Job summary

Virginia Community College System seeks a Finance Operations professional to ensure Accounts Payable and Travel & Expense data, invoices, payments, and vendor accounts are processed accurately and timely. The role combines transactional support with data analysis, reporting, and cross-functional collaboration to promote operational efficiency.

The position emphasizes internal controls and GAAP basics, with experience in dashboards/metrics and automation tools. Hybrid telework is available.

Qualifications

• Experience in Accounts Payable, internal controls, and GAAP basics.
• Experience developing and maintaining dashboards and metrics.
• Experience with Travel & Expense and AP automation tools (e.g., Coupa, Concur).
• Experience analyzing Travel & Expense reports for accuracy and policy compliance.
• Experience with ERP/AP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, Workday).
• Proficient with Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Process Accounts Payable data, invoices, payments, and vendor accounts.
• Perform data analysis, reporting, and trend identification to drive efficiency.
• Collaborate with finance and business stakeholders to improve processes.
