Job summary

Deloitte is seeking a Senior Manager, Solution Delivery in its Finance Operate practice to lead Controllership and Record-to-Report managed services for Financial Services clients. You will drive complex engagements, coordinate multi-workstream pursuits, and mentor managers and consultants in a fast-paced, matrixed environment.

The role emphasizes executive presence, commercial acumen, and strong governance across mobilization, delivery, and client relationships. Travel up to 50% is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field (required).
• 12+ years of experience in accounting, financial reporting, controllership, or related finance services.
• 8+ years of experience in managed services, shared services, outsourced delivery, or related environments.
• 8+ years in Financial Services Industry or serving FS clients.
• Experience leading complex solutioning, sales pursuits, mobilization, and delivery for finance managed services.
• Ability to travel 50%, on average.

Responsibilities

• Own strategy and execution of complex managed services solutions for Controllership/Record-to-Report opportunities in FS.
• Lead high-priority business development, proposals, client presentations, and RFP responses for Finance Operate opportunities.
• Advise clients and Deloitte leadership, translating finance challenges into scalable operating models and roadmaps.
• Lead Finance Operate pipeline, qualification, governance, and handoff to mobilization and delivery teams.
• Oversee engagement mobilization and delivery, including governance, transition planning, and quality management.
• Partner with account leaders to identify growth opportunities and expand Finance Operate services.
• Drive standardization, automation, and technology enablement across engagements.
• Develop repeatable solution assets and delivery methodologies for Controllership and R2R.
