Job summary

Deloitte is seeking a Senior Manager, Solution Delivery in the Finance Operate practice to lead the growth and delivery of Controllership/Record-to-Report managed services for Financial Services clients in the United States.

You will guide complex client engagements, oversee mobilization, and drive delivery excellence across multi-workstreams, partnering with senior stakeholders to translate finance challenges into scalable operating models and roadmaps.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
• 12+ years in accounting, financial reporting or controllership.
• 8+ years in managed services, shared services, or finance operations.
• 8+ years in Financial Services industry experience.
• Experience leading complex solutioning, mobilization, and delivery.
• Strong proposals, presentations, and business development experience.
• Travel approx. 50% depending on client engagements.
• Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Own strategy and execution of complex managed services for Controllership/Record-to-Report in Financial Services.
• Lead high-priority business development, proposals, client presentations, and RFP responses for Finance Operate opportunities.
• Advise clients and Deloitte leadership on finance challenges and scalable operating models, value propositions, and roadmaps.
• Lead Finance Operate pipeline management, qualification, and governance for finance transformations.
• Oversee engagement mobilization and delivery, including governance, transitions, service management, and executive escalations.
• Partner with account and industry leaders to identify growth opportunities and expand services.
• Drive standardization, automation, and technology enablement across engagements.
• Develop repeatable solution assets, methodologies, and delivery approaches.
• Lead and coach managers, consultants, and SMEs; support talent development and performance.
• Contribute to practice growth through thought leadership and market development.
