Job summary

Volvo Car Financial Services seeks a Finance Market Manager for the Great Lakes market. This homebased role covers Ohio, Michigan, Indiana and Western Pennsylvania, with a company vehicle and travel three to four days per week. You will lead retailers, plan market strategies, and drive CX and profitability across the market.

The role requires 3–5 years of automotive F&I/retail experience, a bachelor’s degree, and strong data/BI skills. Travel and in-market meetings are expected.

Let's introduce ourselvesFinance Market Manager, Great LakesVolvo Car Financial Services (VCFS)This is a homebased position. Candidate must reside in the Columbus, Ohio area.The Finance Market Manager represents Volvo Car Financial Services by developing and maintaining loyal and strong working relationships with Volvo retailers throughout the market including Ohio, Michigan, Indiana and Western Pennsylvania. This position is responsible for achieving established measurable sales, customer satisfaction and operational results throughout our Great Lakes Market.The role includes a new Volvo company vehicle to meet the expectations of in-market travel three-four days per week, with possible overnight requirements.

What you'll do

• Achieve Market Targets and Objectives for the following: New Retail, New Lease, CPO and Pre-Owned Volvo penetrations, lease and retail e-contracting and VIP assurance products.. These are Monthly, Quarterly, and Annual Targets.
• Provide leadership and mentorship to Retailers.
• Participate in monthly and annual planning sessions on sales, incentives, and financials.
• Coordinate with VCFS Regional Sales & Marketing Manager on retailer meetings and deliver messaging to retailers as needed.
• Work with and provide guidance to Retailer Principal and Retailer Management to achieve Retailer and VCFS combined objectives. Develop improvement plans as needed where opportunities exist.
• Work cross-functionally with the in-market Volvo Cars Market Manager and Aftersales Market Manager
• Manage and prioritize Market activities, video conference, and/or in-person meetings to align penetration objectives.
• Monitor, review, and consult retailers on CX initiatives related to Retailer Customer Satisfaction processes driving increased customer satisfaction and J.D. Power results.
• Manage market implementation of sales programs, point-of-sale marketing materials, digital solutions, and available retailer resources.
• Develop vendor relationships to improve efficiencies, profitability, and penetration. (Is this needed, what other vendor? We reference the JM&A relationship below.)
• Provide market input on credit and funding standards, procedures, and strategies.
• Coordinate with JM&A Dealer Performance Managers on in-retailer performance metrics and training.
• Collaborate with the regional JM&A VIP Brand Manager to further VIP goals and initiatives throughout the market.
• Define Retailer improvement programs based on targets and objectives.
• When required, plan and host an annual VCFS Retailer Summit, market meetings, and/or any other function within the market to achieve objectives.
• Attend VCFS and Volvo Cars sponsored meetings outside of market.
• Complete other assignments as needed, including ensuring dealer agreements are up to date and managing retailer title delinquency to VCFS standards.

Competencies/Experience/Skills Required

• Broad knowledge of F&I and Retail Sales experience, which is usually acquired through a combination of education (Bachelor’s Degree, or equivalent experience) and at least 3-5 years of Automotive retail experience.
• Proven track record of success selling F&I products at the retail level.
• Experience with Dealertrack and RouteOne platforms including credit application submission and digital contracting.
