Weyerhaeuser seeks an Accounting or Finance student for a Summer 2027 Financial/Managerial Accounting internship in Seattle. You will perform closing activities, analyze results, and prepare working papers with solid documentation.

You’ll have a manager and an accounting buddy guiding you through projects, networking events, and volunteering opportunities while you gain hands-on SAP, Power BI, and Office experience. Ten-week program.

Qualifications

• Enrolled or graduated in Accounting/Finance with expected degree in Summer 2027.
• Proficient in Excel, Word, and Office products.
• Analytical mindset with data-driven thinking and attention to detail.
• Strong teamwork, curiosity, and professional judgement.
• Good organizational skills and ability to meet deadlines.
• Effective verbal and written communication abilities.
• Authorized to work in the United States and reside near Seattle.

Responsibilities

• Prepare journal entries and complete account reconciliations.
• Analyze financial results and perform variance analysis.
• Prepare and document working papers and disclosures.
• Assist with closing activities and financial reporting.
