Job summary

Weyerhaeuser invites an accounting/information systems student to join our Summer 2027 Accounting/Information Systems internship. You will contribute to closing activities, analyze financial results, and prepare working papers with solid documentation.

You will engage with the SAP Support team, gain hands-on experience with SAP, Power BI and Office tools, and network with leaders across the company. The program runs ten weeks with onsite involvement in Seattle.

Qualifications

• Pursuing or having completed a Bachelor's or Master's in Accounting or Finance.
• Proficiency in Excel, Word and Office products.
• Strong teamwork and collaborative mindset.
• Curiosity with analytical approaches to issues.
• Good professional judgement for decision making.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks with attention to detail.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Willingness to work onsite at Seattle HQ three days a week.
• Eligibility to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Assist with closing activities (accounting and system related).
• Analyze financial results and prepare working papers with supporting documentation.
• Participate in SAP-related projects and the SAP Support team activities.
• Perform reconciliations, variance analysis and footnote writing for disclosures.
• Contribute to internal and external reports with clear interpretation of data.
• Engage with interns and leaders across the company for development and networking.
