Job summary

Ascension Search Partners is partnering with a middle market PE-backed company to scale the FP&A function, working directly with the CFO and exec leadership to develop reporting, analytics, budgeting, forecasting, and KPI infrastructure for the next growth phase.

You will build weekly to quarterly KPI reporting, partner across finance and operations, and drive scalable FP&A processes and dashboards to support strategic decisions and profitability insights.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
• 4–6 years of FP&A, financial analysis, or corporate finance experience.
• Advanced Excel skills with strong financial modeling.
• Experience developing KPIs, management reporting, and dashboards.
• Ability to communicate financial insights to non-financial stakeholders.
• Comfortable operating in a fast-paced entrepreneurial environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain weekly, monthly, and quarterly KPI reporting and dashboards.
• Analyze financial data to identify trends, risks, opportunities, and drivers.
• Partner with sales, operations, and leadership to provide actionable insights.
• Build reporting processes and improve visibility into profitability and margins.
• Create financial models, ad hoc analyses, and presentations for decisions.
• Help establish scalable FP&A processes as the organization grows.
