Job summary

Stratton Mountain Resort is seeking a Finance Manager to lead financial planning, analysis, forecasting, and performance reporting for our year-round operations. You will partner with Resort leadership and department heads to provide strategic insight for budgeting, capital prioritization, and operational decision-making.

The role emphasizes forward-looking financial management, budgeting accuracy, variance analysis, and ROI evaluation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics or related field.
• 3–5 years of progressive experience in FP&A, budgeting, and forecasting.
• Experience leading budgeting/forecasting in a multi-department environment.
• Strong understanding of P&L management, capital planning, and financial analysis.
• Proven ability to partner with senior leaders and build insights.
• Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead annual operating and capital budgeting with department leaders.
• Manage monthly forecasting and analyze financial performance.
• Prepare financial reports and variance analyses for decision-making.
• Evaluate strategic initiatives, capital projects, ROI, and post-investment results.
• Develop and enhance financial reporting tools and processes.
• Provide financial guidance to leadership and cross-functional teams.
• Perform ad hoc analyses and support strategic planning.
