Job summary

Bogus Basin seeks a Finance Director to lead the mountain area's financial health, overseeing planning, reporting, budgeting, and analysis while guiding senior management toward stability and growth across winter and summer revenue streams.

The role requires a Bachelor's in finance or accounting (MBA or CPA preferred), 7–10 years in finance with at least 3 years in a leadership role, and experience in hospitality or outdoor recreation; proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel, and ERP systems is

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or related field; MBA or CPA preferred.
• 7–10 years in finance with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
• Experience in hospitality, resort, or outdoor recreation preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute long-term financial strategies to support organizational goals.
• Lead annual budgeting with department heads to build data-driven budgets.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for execs and board.
• Oversee GAAP financial statements and compliance.
• Monitor cash flow, debt, and banking relationships.
• Provide financial guidance for revenue streams including winter and summer operations.
