The ideal candidate has public accounting background (Big 4 preferred), 4–7 years of experience, and strong Excel and ERP skills. You will partner with leadership and external providers to ensure accurate financials and compliance.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • 4–7 years of experience, including experience in public accounting.
  • Big 4 or regional public accounting firm experience preferred.
  • Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting principles.
  • Experience managing audits, reconciliations, and month-end close processes.
  • Advanced Excel skills and experience with accounting or ERP systems.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes.
  • Prepare and review financial statements and supporting schedules in accordance with GAAP.
  • Oversee general ledger activity, journal entries, and account reconciliations.
  • Maintain accurate financial records and ensure compliance with internal policies and accounting standards.
  • Coordinate with external auditors, tax advisors, and other third-party providers during audits and compliance activities.
  • Monitor cash activity and assist with treasury-related functions.
  • Support the implementation and improvement of accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls.
  • Assist with system implementations, process enhancements, and operational efficiencies.
  • Prepare ad hoc financial analyses and reporting for leadership as needed.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with operations, legal, compliance, and executive leadership teams.

A growing private equity firm is seeking a Finance Manager to support the day-to-day accounting and financial operations of the organization. This role is ideal for a candidate with a strong public accounting background who is looking to transition into an industry role within a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

The Finance Manager will oversee core accounting functions, financial reporting, audit coordination, and process improvement initiatives while partnering closely with leadership and external service providers/
