Job summary

A leading alternative investment manager in Boston seeks a Finance Manager to handle financial reporting for Private Debt. This position requires a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting/Finance with a CPA and at least 5 years of relevant experience. The Finance Manager will prepare financial statements, support fundraising efforts, and manage audits. Strong communication and organizational skills are essential. The role is in-office 3 days a week, with competitive compensation ranging from $125,000 to $150,000 along with benefits.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in accounting, preferably with alternative investment asset managers.
• Extensive experience with Private Equity/Debt valuation is required.
• SEC/BDC reporting and CLO experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements for Private Debt funds.
• Collaborate with Investor Relations for fundraising materials.
• Contribute to the valuation process for investments.
• Review fund administrator’s work and manage tax estimates.
• Lead communication with auditors for year-end financials.
