Job summary

Amazon.com Services LLC is seeking a Finance Manager to join the North America Operations FP&A Outbound Reporting Consolidation team in Arlington, VA. This role consolidates, analyzes, and tells the story of outbound transportation financials and metrics, supporting weekly results, quarterly outlooks, and month‑end close.

You will partner with the Outbound carrier FP&A teams (Line Haul, Sort Center, Amazon Air, Last Mile Delivery) and provide clear, actionable commentary to the VP of NA Ops and

Qualifications

• 5+ years of tax, finance or related analytical field experience.
• 6+ years of building financial and operational reports/data sets that inform business decision-making.
• 5+ years of dissecting financial data and identifying patterns that support business strategy.
• 5+ years of leading cross-functional initiatives that drive financial performance and strategy.
• Bachelor's degree in BI, finance, engineering, statistics, computer science, mathematics, finance or equivalent quantitative field.

Responsibilities

• Driving the integrity and accuracy of the NA outbound KPI’s and financial reporting
• Exercising clear communication and strong partnership skills to tell a concise and consistent story, but with the appropriate amount of detail
• Ensuring a high degree of controllership and compliance by monitoring forecast accuracy, understanding drivers of variances, and providing insightful commentary
• Using strong business acumen and financial knowledge to build financial models that draw conclusions, make recommendations, inform decision making, and deliver results
• Setting up mechanisms, streamlining processes, and looking for ways to invent and simplify
• Navigating through ambiguous situations, exercising good judgment, and operating in high-pressure situations with tight deadlines
