Software Placement Group seeks a Finance Manager/Plant Controller to own budgeting, forecasting, and cost accounting for a high-tech manufacturing facility in Bartlesville, OK. You will partner with plant leadership to drive strategic decisions and improve profitability, while leading cost-control initiatives and ensuring GAAP-compliant reporting.

The role offers two yearly bonus programs and full relocation assistance, with potential to supervise a cost accountant and influence key performance

Qualifications

• Experience as a Finance Manager/Plant Controller or Accounting Manager.
• Strong understanding of cost accounting, with the ability to supervise a cost accountant.
• Experience in financial budgeting and financial forecasts.

Responsabilités

• Manage all financial matters for the plant and serve as the primary owner of financial budgeting and ongoing financial forecasts.
• Partner with the Plant Manager to drive strategic plant decisions, identify issues, and improve plant performance and profitability.
• Increase financial visibility and lead local cost-reduction initiatives.
• Ensure timely execution of financial reporting.
• Manage the accounting system and ensure timely, accurate collection and reporting of cost-related financial information.
• Perform timely and accurate manufacturing cost variance analysis.
• Interface with plant management and staff on cost control measures and implementation of cost reductions.
• Lead and assist in the budget planning and forecasting process in accordance with corporate guidelines.
• Lead the facility's annual update of standard costs in accordance with corporate guidelines.
• Ensure inventory balances are properly stated in accordance with US GAAP and corporate guidelines.
• Review bills of materials (BOM) for accuracy to ensure they represent the actual product produced.
• Evaluate investment projects submitted by plant leadership to ensure accuracy and that returns meet corporate guidelines.
• Supervise one cost accountant
