Job summary

IDEX Corporation is seeking a Finance Manager for its FlowMD unit in Phoenix, AZ. You will lead the finance team, drive reporting, budgeting, and decision support to maximize cash flow and profitability.

This role partners with BU leadership and the VP of Finance & IT to shape strategic initiatives and improve financial processes. The ideal candidate has a CPA or MBA, 5+ years in finance within manufacturing, and strong knowledge of GAAP, SOX, and cost accounting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting.
• CPA and/or MBA preferred.
• 5+ years of relevant experience in financial and manufacturing accounting.
• Cost accounting experience is required.
• Knowledge of U.S. GAAP and manufacturing/financial reporting, Sarbanes-Oxley.
• MRP Experience, preferably JD Edwards.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications.

Responsibilities

• Provides operational finance support to the Business Unit GM and senior leadership.
• Contribute to business strategy development and operational execution of business plans.
• Direct the regular financial processes for the Business Unit including closing books, forecasting, planning, and reporting.
• Ensure compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley reporting requirements.
• Audit operational processes for policy adherence.
• Prepare analyses of financial statement results including cost trends and profitability.
• Evaluate, approve and/or recommend actions on capital spending and investments.
