Job summary

Recruito is seeking a seasoned Finance Controller to oversee FP&A, budgets, monthly closings, and investor reporting in a fast-growing environment. You will manage GST, TDS, and RBI compliance, and drive cost optimization.

You will lead multi-currency payout processes, build financial models, and strengthen controls while partnering with leadership to enable strategic decisions. Experience with SaaS or creator economy is a plus.

Qualifications

• Experience in startups or high-growth companies.
• Strong knowledge of Indian GST, taxes, and FEMA/RBI regulations.
• Experience with Tally, Zoho Books, Excel, or Google Sheets.
• Experience with financial models, MIS, and investor/board reporting.
• SaaS, marketplace, or creator economy experience is a plus.
• Strong communication and financial presentation skills.
• High ownership and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage FP&A, budgets, forecasts, and MIS reporting.
• Handle accounting, bookkeeping, and monthly financial closing.
• Manage GST, TDS, tax, ROC filings, and audits.
• Manage creator payouts, collections, and multi-currency payments.
• Prepare financial models, investor reports, and fundraising documents.
• Improve financial controls, approvals, and vendor processes.
• Track campaign profitability, margins, and revenue.
• Manage banking, credit, cash flow, and cost optimization.
