Regions Bank is seeking a Financial Manager to provide accounting and financial strategic support within the Finance organization. You will guide forecasting, budgeting, reporting, and month-end close to business unit leaders.

The role emphasizes governance, external filings readiness, and interaction with risk, internal audit, and regulators, with potential to lead a small team. Strong MS Office skills and six years of finance experience are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a directly related field.
• Six years of finance experience plus experience managing groups or functions.

Responsibilities

• Perform financial analysis and reporting including forecasting, budgeting and month-end close.
• Plan and direct production of reporting packages and support for external filings.
• Ensure governance activities and financial statement controls are followed.
• Serve as day-to-day contact for risk, internal audit, external auditors, regulators, or stakeholders.
• Maintain knowledge of accounting/regulatory changes affecting the bank.
• Identify and implement opportunities for new systems and processes.
• Manage vendor relationships and oversee operating systems efficiency.
• May lead a small team within the group.
