Job summary

FOX News Channel in Los Angeles seeks a Manager, Accounting & Financial Reporting to lead month-end close for the Digital & Technology unit, ensuring accurate general ledger and detailed variance analysis. The role partners with operations and FP&A to drive financial discipline and timely reporting.

The position oversees the end-to-end Procure-to-Pay process, manages vendor inquiries, and supports audits and internal controls.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field.
• 3–5+ years of accounting or finance experience, preferably in a large corporate environment.
• Strong understanding of accrual accounting and GAAP.
• Advanced Excel skills and ability to analyze large data sets.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work with stakeholders at all levels.
• Ability to operate independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage month-end close for the Operating Division and oversee third-party goods/services expense and proper coding.
• Perform reconciliations of key Balance Sheet accounts and analyze variances.
• Lead Procure-to-Pay processes, vendor management, invoice processing, and approvals.
• Collaborate with FP&A and operational teams to explain spend drivers and prepare reporting deliverables.
• Support internal and external audits and ensure SOX controls documentation and compliance.
• Reconcile embedded cost reports and respond to ad hoc financial inquiries.
