Job summary

GovCIO is seeking an experienced Finance Analyst/Manager to support the USCG effort and related Health and Civilian sector programs. The role requires strong finance acumen, leadership, and ability to build relationships with program managers, customer stakeholders, and company leadership.

Responsibilities include financial reporting, rolling forecasts, annual budgets, variance analysis, subcontractor spending, and close processes, with collaboration across Accounting, Contracts, and Procurement

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting/finance/business or related field.
• 8+ years of experience or commensurate experience.
• Government contracting knowledge including CAS, FAR and GAAP.
• Advanced Excel with pivot tables and modeling.
• Strong communication and ability to distill complex data for stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Partner with VP and program teams to analyze financial performance.
• Produce timely financial reporting including P&L, variance analysis, and monthly reporting.
• Manage monthly rolling forecast and annual budgeting activities.
• Support PMO and procurement with planning, invoicing, and subcontractor management.
• Assist with pricing exercises and option years.
• Track subcontractor spending and funding, and drive process improvements.
• Oversee month-end close, cost accruals, and revenue recognition.
• Collaborate with Accounting, Contracts, and other functions to enable operations.
