Job summary

6BO IAP World Services, Inc. seeks a Program Finance Manager to oversee timely financial deliverables, internal reporting, forecasting, and audit readiness across programs.

You will lead financial analyses, coordinate with management, and ensure accurate labor hours, rates, subcontractor costs and other direct costs. Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, business administration, or business management.
  • Experience supporting in Intelligence Community (IC) programs.
  • Greater than six (6) years of relevant experience with DoD or IC financial processes, procedures and functions.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office skills including Excel, PowerPoint and Word.
  • Basic knowledge of FAR/DFAR and DCAA requirements.
  • Demonstrated ability to present financial status/issues to leadership and customers.
  • Excellent communication skills and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

  • Acts as the key resource on program financial responsibilities and matters.
  • Provides support to financial management program actions and activities, monitoring and oversight, meetings, funds tracking, milestone planning, briefing preparation, staff coordination, cost risk management, and decision documents preparation.
  • Monitors and reports performance against plans to ensure contractual cost and schedule objectives are met.
  • Monitors the status of financial accounts, ensuring program charges reflect labor hours and rates, subcontractor costs and other direct costs (ODCs).
  • Performs analysis of budgets and schedules needed to meet contractual/project requirements for programs.
  • Monitors spending versus plan and notifies management of over runs/under runs.
  • Prepares financial reports and forecasts for management.
  • Interfaces with management, responding to requests for financial data.
  • Validates and ensures invoices are submitted timely.
  • Recommends, develops and implements solutions to improve financial management and analysis capabilities.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, business administration, or business management.

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Proficient with Excel in the use of Filters, Pivot Tables, Formulas; developing Excel Macros and database solutions is desirable.
  • Experience supporting large National Security programs.
  • Experience with Cost Type Level of Effort Contracts Analysis and detail oriented.
  • Knowledge of Costpoint.
  • Certification: Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Certified Government Financial Manager (CGFM), Certified Management Accountant (CMA), Certified Financial Analyst (CFA), Project Management Professional (PMP), or similar.
