Overview

DARCARS Automotive Group is hiring for an Automotive Finance and Insurance Manager in Fairfax. As the Finance & Insurance Manager, you will manage the financial transactions of the vehicle buying experience for customers, in person and through our online digital retailing software. You will work with lenders to obtain approvals for car purchases, be engaged with the overall sales process, produce the financial paperwork, and advise staff on DMV laws.

Qualifications

• Prior finance & insurance manager experience preferred
• Ability to handle 60+ deals per month in a high-volume environment
• Must be able to work evenings and Saturdays
• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Must have a valid driver\'s license and a clean driving record
• Must be able to pass pre-employment screenings

Responsibilities

• Work directly with the sales team and customers to assist in the financial buying process of the car buying experience
• Consult and sell finance & insurance warranties to customers
• Produce and submit accurate paperwork for title work and to secure funding from finance sources in a timely manner
• Achieve monthly objectives
• Meet deadlines for turning in customer paperwork to lenders and accounting
• Secure and handle customer money during vehicle transactions; turn money into accounting
• Adhere to all local and national regulations and advise the sales team on newly changed state laws related to purchasing a vehicle
• Create and maintain customer relationships
• Maintain an impeccable reputation with lenders and vendors
• Provide a clear finance and insurance menu presentation explaining warranty packages
• Assist sales professionals with customers when needed to explain lending options and warranties
• Build relationships with local and national bank and manufacturer representatives and meet with them monthly
• Track record of excellent CSI scores
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and dealership management systems
• Detail oriented and able to stay organized in a fast-paced environment
• Strategic thinker capable of finding solutions for every customer when needed
• Self-motivated and a team player
• Understanding of tag and title laws; DMV compliance
