Job summary

On Location is seeking a Finance Manager, Core to partner with event teams and senior leadership to drive planning, reporting, and controls across our Core Events portfolio. You will help ensure accurate financial results and strong governance across marquee events.

This role leads monthly closes, budgeting, multi-year forecasting, and P&L reviews, while mentoring junior accountants and supporting contract analysis and revenue recognition. A fast-paced, hospitality-focused environment awaits.

Qualifications

• 5–7+ years in Finance, FP&A, or Accounting.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting; CPA and/or MBA preferred.
• Experience in live events, hospitality, sports, or entertainment strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a lead finance partner across the Core Events portfolio.
• Own Finance sign-off of event P&Ls, including review and validation.
• Partner with Controllership to ensure accuracy of accounting and accruals.
• Manage and develop Event Accountants, including review of work product.
• Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual close deliverables and reporting.
• Own budgeting, forecasting, and multi-year planning processes.
• Monitor revenue performance, cost drivers, and margin optimization.
• Provide variance analysis with actionable insights.
• Maintain and enhance financial models for ticketing and operations.
• Support contract analysis and revenue recognition.
• Ensure alignment with finance policies and internal controls.
• Act as finance lead for key events with real-time visibility.
