Job summary

SP Plus Corporation is seeking an experienced Senior Accountant/Finance Manager in Chicago, IL. You will prepare financial reports, budgets, perform variance analysis, and oversee AR/AP, reconciliations, and payroll processing.

You’ll manage internal audits, monthly revenue reporting, and year-end close while maintaining general ledgers and monthly parker billing. Strong Excel, payroll systems, and project management are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting with 4+ years of professional accounting experience.
• Prior management/supervisory experience.
• Advanced Excel skills and strong data analysis.
• Working knowledge of payroll systems Quicken or AS400; 10-Key.
• Demonstrated ability to review financial statements and contracts.
• Experience with Workforce Now or similar payroll systems.
• Experience with biometric time & attendance software is a plus.
• Ability to maintain cohesive client and team relationships.
• Strong project management, prioritization, and time management.
• Deadline-oriented with solid math and reasoning skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare financial reports, budgets, and variance analyses.
• Oversee AR/AP, reconciliations, and cash management.
• Administer financial management systems and new applications.
• Manage audits and monthly/annual revenue reporting.
• Maintain annual expense budgets and monthly reconciliations.
• Process payroll and manage time/attendance systems.
• Maintain general ledgers and month/year-end close.
• Handle monthly parker invoicing and reconciliations.
