Job summary

Georgia Ports Authority seeks a Manager of Finance to oversee financial analysis and reporting for defined benefit, defined contribution, medical and retiree benefits, and compensation plans, plus budgets and month-end close, under the General Manager of Finance - Benefits.

The role partners with Human Resources and the Executive Team on complex financial analysis, audits, and board reporting, develops predictive models, and supports ERP implementations and process improvements.

Qualifications

• 4–6 years in a senior financial management position.
• Experience with board-level reporting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate financial aspects of defined benefit, OPEB and defined contribution plans.
• Support budgeting, annual audits, and month-end close processes.
• Prepare month-end reporting for all benefit plans.
• Develop predictive financial models for complex decisions.
• Support ERP and financial systems implementation and process reviews.
• Improve processes and create efficiencies.
