Job summary

Vibracoustic in Farmington Hills, MI is seeking an experienced accounting leader to manage monthly General Ledger close for multiple U.S. entities.

You will collaborate with regional leaders to drive finance transformation, automation, and ERP improvements, across a manufacturing environment. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
• CPA designation preferred.
• 7+ years of progressive accounting and finance experience with General Ledger and month-end close responsibilities.
• Experience managing accounting activities for multiple legal entities within a manufacturing or multinational environment.
• Hands-on experience with ERP systems such as SAP, AS400, or similar financial platforms.
• Strong knowledge of General Ledger, financial reporting, account reconciliations, and audit support.
• Ability to lead an accounting team providing guidance and motivation to achieve results in a fast paced collaborative environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead the monthly General Ledger close process for multiple U.S. legal entities, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely reporting.
• Partner with regional leadership to drive finance transformation initiatives, including process harmonization, automation, and system improvements.
• Support ERP enhancements, system implementations, and new business or project launches across the region.
• Manage and oversee month-end close activities within AS400, and SAP environments.
• Coordinate regional Finance and Accounting projects, ensuring successful execution and alignment with business objectives.
• Lead the accounting team providing guidance and motivation to achieve results in a fast-paced collaborative environment
• Prepare audit schedules and support internal and external audit activities, including year-end reporting requirements.
• Maintain and improve reporting processes to support operational and financial decision-making.
• Identify opportunities to streamline workflows, improve controls, and enhance financial reporting capabilities.
