Job summary

Netlify is seeking a Finance Manager to own the core corporate finance cycle, including monthly reporting, forecasting, and planning. You’ll build and improve the 3-statement model, run driver-based forecasts, and develop KPI layers to guide leadership decisions.

The role emphasizes AI tooling, automation, and scalable processes across the close and planning cycles, with collaboration across departments. A SaaS finance background is highly valued.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in FP&A or strategic finance, SaaS/usage-based experience; investment banking/PE background preferred but strong modeling is essential.
• Proven ability to build 3-statement models from scratch with scenario/sensitivity analysis and structural model changes.
• Strong working knowledge of US GAAP and core accounting principles.
• Advanced Google Sheets or Excel; comfortable with large datasets.
• Deep SaaS metrics understanding and drivers at scale.
• Experience reconciling financial data flows across systems.
• Working knowledge of SQL and AI workflow concepts for finance.

Responsibilities

• Drive monthly reporting cadence with operating models and management package insights
• Take full ownership of the 3-statement operating model and driver-based forecast
• Lead annual planning: templates, scenarios, and plan assumptions
• Build and maintain company-level KPI layer (ARR, NRR, gross margin, CAC payback, Rule of 40) and explain movements
• Develop scenario/sensitivity models for capital and headcount decisions
• Own department budget tracking; serve as finance contact for leaders on budget/spend
• Automate close/forecast tasks using AI and tooling to reduce cycle time
• Collaborate with GTM on sales planning and KPI tracking
