Role Description

The Finance Manager is a full-time, on-site role based at MAZZEI CHEVROLET in Vacaville, CA. This role is responsible for structuring and finalizing vehicle financing and leasing deals, presenting finance and insurance options to customers, and ensuring all documentation is accurate and compliant with regulatory and dealership standards. Day-to-day tasks include reviewing credit applications, working with lending partners, explaining terms and products clearly, and maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction. The Finance Manager collaborates closely with sales and management teams to maximize profitability while maintaining ethical practices and transparent processes. The role also involves monitoring finance performance metrics, adhering to compliance requirements, and supporting continuous improvement of dealership finance operations.

Qualifications

• Strong finance and accounting skills, including experience with loan structures, interest rates, and payment calculations.
• Knowledge of automotive F&I processes, lender relationships, and finance and insurance products (warranties, protection plans, GAP, etc.).
• Proficiency with dealership management systems, CRM tools, and general office software (e.g., Excel, Word).
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and customer service skills, with the ability to explain complex information clearly.
• Detail-oriented and organized, with strong documentation, compliance, and regulatory awareness (e.g., privacy, disclosure requirements).
• Ability to work collaboratively with sales and management teams, meet performance goals, and manage multiple deals simultaneously.
• Previous experience as a Finance Manager, F&I Manager, or similar role in an automotive dealership is highly preferred.
• High school diploma required; associate or bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or a related field is a plus.
• Comfort working in a fast-paced retail environment, including evenings and weekends as business needs require.
