Job summary

A finance and accounting firm in Rhode Island is looking for a professional to oversee annual international financial packages and prepare global consolidated financial statements. Candidates should have a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, 7+ years of public accounting experience, and familiarity with US GAAP. Job description

Responsibilities

• Review annual international financial packages.
• Review monthly uploads to EPM system including communicating with international entities to reconcile data as needed.
• Help develop, improve and manage EPM reporting.
• Prepare global consolidated financial statements.
• Review budgets/forecasts of international entities, evaluate results, improve process.
• Work closely with the Manager to help develop and administer financial review/auditing processes.
• Work with various legal entities to help identify and implement improvements regarding reporting, controls, and general accounting processes.
• Ad Hoc projects as required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
• 7+ years of public accounting experience
• CPA or pursuit of credentials is highly preferred
• Fundamental knowledge of US GAAP and familiarity with IFRS
• Ability to effectively organize, prioritize, and manage multiple engagements
• Experience with Planful or similar EPM system a plus
