Job summary

Soni is partnering with a rapidly growing organization seeking a Technical Finance Manager to build and scale its U.S. finance infrastructure. This is a highly visible, hands-on role spanning technical accounting, financial systems, internal controls, reporting, M&A integration, audit, and finance transformation.

The position will work across Finance, IT, Operations, and leadership to strengthen processes, improve systems, and create scalable infrastructure to support continued growth.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in accounting, finance, audit, controlling, or technical finance.
• Understanding of U.S. GAAP, financial reporting, accounting processes, and internal controls.
• Experience with finance transformation, systems implementation, or process improvement.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to move between detailed technical work and broader business initiatives.
• Strong communication and cross-functional partnership skills.
• Hands-on, high-ownership mentality.

Responsibilities

• Strengthen accounting processes, controls, and finance infrastructure.
• Support technical accounting, financial reporting, and consolidation.
• Lead and support ERP, reporting, and finance systems initiatives.
• Improve finance data, master data, and automation.
• Standardize and streamline processes across multiple business units.
• Support external audit and internal control initiatives.
• Participate in M&A, including acquisition accounting and post-close integration.
• Support finance integration of newly acquired businesses.
• Partner on treasury, cash management, intercompany, and other finance initiatives.
• Work closely with Finance, IT, Operations, auditors, and senior leadership.
• Identify opportunities to automate and improve finance processes.

Preferred Skills:

• CPA and/or public accounting background
• Project-based, construction, engineering, or field-service industry exposure
• Experience with finance automation and reporting tools

Compensation:

$145,000 - $175,000

Salary is based on a range of factors that include relevant experience, knowledge, skills, other job-related qualifications.
