Job summary

Growth For Impact seeks a seasoned finance professional to lead budgeting and financial planning for our programs. You will develop and maintain programmatic budgets, run budget-to-actual reporting, and partner with departments to align plans with strategic goals.

Ideal candidates hold a four-year degree in Finance or Accounting with at least seven years of budgeting, forecasting, and modeling experience, strong Excel skills, and nonprofit accounting knowledge.

• At least seven years of professional experience in financial planning, modeling and analysis.
• Strong Excel skills and proficiency with Windows tools (Word/Outlook).
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain programmatic budgets and budget-to-actual reporting.
• Coordinate budgeting and planning across departments.
• Draft funder budgets and respond to funder questions.
• Support cost recovery analyses and pricing reports.
• Monitor funding income and provide usage recommendations.
• Analyze monthly funding tables and coordinate with Philanthropic Partnerships.
• Provide ad-hoc financial analysis and support as needed.
• Reconcile and update funding sources and assist grants team.

Job description

ROLE

• – Develop and maintain current programmatic budgets; coordinate with Accounting on budget-to-actual reporting.
• – Coordinate with other departments as part of the organizational budgeting and planning process.
• – Draft incoming funder proposal budgets with Philanthropic Partnerships and Program teams; organize budget meetings; respond to funder questions regarding submitted budgets.
• – Contribute to cost recovery analyses and projections with the Finance team; maintain reports related to pricing and cost recovery.
• – Monitor interest income accrued on funding sources and provide recommendations on usage.
• – Review and analyze monthly funding tables, including prospective and committed funding; coordinate with Philanthropic Partnerships as needed.
• – Provide ad‑hoc financial analysis and analytical support as needed.
• – Reconcile and update funding sources.
• – Provide other grants and contracts‑related assistance as needed in coordination with the grants team.
• – Provide additional support to the Finance team as required.

REQUIREMENTS

• – Four‑year college degree with coursework in Finance or Accounting, or equivalent experience.
• – At least seven years of professional experience, including financial planning, modeling, and analysis.
• – Highly responsible and responsive with a positive attitude.

• – Highly organized and detail‑oriented.
