Job summary

Partners Personnel is seeking an experienced Finance Manager / Controller to lead the financial and administrative functions of a manufacturing division. This hands-on role partners with senior leadership to translate financial results into actionable business strategies and to drive efficiency across Finance, Costing, Payroll, IT, and Office Administration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Commerce, or a related field.
• CPA or CMA designation preferred.
• 1–3+ years of experience as a Controller, Finance Manager, or similar leadership role within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong understanding of accounting, cash management, forecasting, budgeting, and financial reporting.
• Experience working with ERP systems, including ERP implementations.
• Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to work effectively with employees at all organizational levels.
• Strong analytical, technical, and problem‑solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee the division's Finance, Costing, Payroll, IT, and Office Clerical functions
• Prepare and manage weekly cash forecasts and related financial reporting
• Review and oversee weekly payroll processing
• Perform hands‑on accounting and financial activities as needed to support the business
• Review monthly financial statement preparation and reporting for accuracy and completeness
• Analyze financial results and present monthly performance updates to senior management
• Lead the annual budgeting process and monthly financial reforecasting
• Provide financial analysis and support for new business development initiatives
• Review financial data associated with new programs, projects, and business opportunities
• Oversee capital expenditures, including financial analysis and tracking
• Participate in the annual update and development of the company's Five-Year Strategic Plan
• Manage and coordinate annual internal and external audits
• Support inventory validation programs, including cycle counts and annual physical inventory
• Oversee risk management, compliance, and internal control activities
• Conduct an annual review and validation of costing models
• Mentor, develop, and motivate the finance team to achieve departmental and business objectives
• Partner with leadership on strategic initiatives and business improvement projects
• Utilize ERP systems and participate in ERP implementations and process improvements
• Provide financial guidance and decision support across the organization
