Job summary

LHH in Chicago seeks a Finance Manager to join its corporate finance team. This highly visible role partners with finance leadership on reporting, modeling, strategic analysis, and decision support across a diversified portfolio.

The ideal candidate will engage with senior leadership and help shape long-term financial strategy. With 5+ years in FP&A or related fields, you will build scalable reporting, craft executive-level materials, and influence cross-business decisions in a lean environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of FP&A, corporate finance, accounting, or related experience.
• Strong financial modeling, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Advanced Excel skills with experience developing scalable reporting solutions.
• Ability to work effectively in a lean, entrepreneurial finance environment.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to present insights to senior leadership.
• Experience supporting multiple business units, investments, or complex organizations is highly preferred.
• CPA or advanced finance/accounting credentials are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead financial planning, forecasting, and performance reporting across operating businesses and investments.
• Develop executive-level reporting packages, dashboards, and presentation materials.
• Build and maintain financial models supporting strategic initiatives, capital planning, and growth.
• Analyze operating performance, cash flow trends, and investment returns to support leadership decisions.
• Support long-range planning, scenario analysis, and enterprise-wide forecasting activities.
• Identify opportunities to enhance reporting processes, analytics, and efficiency.
• Perform ad hoc financial analyses related to investments and performance.
• Collaborate with senior leadership on special projects and key initiatives.

• Base salary: $130,000 - $150,000
