• Excellent analytical, communication, and leadership skills with the ability to manage complex financial data and business processes.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee the finance team, providing direction, mentorship, and support to ensure accurate and timely completion of financial activities.
• Manage the month-end close process, including journal entries, account reconciliations, variance analysis, and preparation of internal and consolidated financial statements.
• Oversee general ledger activity, balance sheet reconciliations, intercompany transactions, fixed assets, leases, debt schedules, and financial reporting processes.
• Develop, implement, and improve accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls to enhance accuracy and efficiency.
• Support annual regulatory and tax reporting requirements, including healthcare cost reports, OHCA filings, Form 990 preparation, and other financial submissions.
• Monitor changes in accounting standards and ensure compliance with applicable GAAP requirements and organizational policies.
• Partner with leadership and cross-functional teams to support budgeting, financial planning, and strategic initiatives.
• Foster the professional growth and development of the finance team through coaching, feedback, and continuous improvement initiatives.
